Required Education

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

Required Expertise

  • A professional certification such as CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) is a strong advantage.
  • Financial Expertise: Solid knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and budgeting.

Required competences

  • Analytical Thinking: Ability to analyze financial data and provide meaningful insights.
  • Accuracy and Integrity: A keen eye for detail with the capacity to handle confidential information responsibly.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Kinyarwanda (or French), with the ability to effectively report and coordinate across departments.
  • Knowledge of Local Regulations: Thorough understanding of Rwanda’s financial laws and regulations
  • .IT Skills: Proficiency in financial software and accounting tools (such as QuickBooks, SAP, or similar systems).
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to proactively resolve issues and improve efficiency in payment processes.
  • Time Management: Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
