Financial Accountant and Payments Coordinator
As a Financial Accountant and Payments Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing financial transactions, including payments and other critical financial processes. You will ensure accurate accounting and compliance with local and international financial regulations. In this role, you will work closely with other departments and support financial decision-making through reporting and analysis.
You will play a key role in overseeing our financial flow and ensuring timely and efficient payment processing. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will contribute to optimizing the company’s financial operations.
Required Education
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
Required Expertise
- A professional certification such as CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) is a strong advantage.
- Financial Expertise: Solid knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and budgeting.
Required competences
- Analytical Thinking: Ability to analyze financial data and provide meaningful insights.
- Accuracy and Integrity: A keen eye for detail with the capacity to handle confidential information responsibly.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Kinyarwanda (or French), with the ability to effectively report and coordinate across departments.
- Knowledge of Local Regulations: Thorough understanding of Rwanda’s financial laws and regulations
- .IT Skills: Proficiency in financial software and accounting tools (such as QuickBooks, SAP, or similar systems).
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to proactively resolve issues and improve efficiency in payment processes.
